The Meeting of our Time

Very rarely in the course of history do we realize the significance of events as they occur. I think that one happened last Wednesday.



Of course, it happened once before.

Somewhere in the archive is a great photo of Gerald Ford meeting George Harrison and Ravi Shankar at the White House. Ford was a HUGE sitar fan.

I love how Jon Stewart said that after the second picture was taken, "Things went really well for both parties."

From the looks of it, Bush and Bono seem don't seem as "friendly" towards each other as Nixon and Elvis.

Bush: Iraq! Are we still there? I don't like Iraq. Think I'll go to my Ranch Home in Texas and play some Golf.
