Today I finally got permission to take the ARE. The form gave me all of the information I'll need to prepare, including the expiration date at which my eligibility will have expired.

This date? December 31, 2099.

I hope to be done before then, though.

The Texan v. The Turtleneck

Over the past few days, there has been quite a heated controversy at my alma mater. There were all sort of rumors flying around about who did what, who said what, and I have tried to reserve judgement on the situation until I knew all of the facts.

I still don't know, but this is going to be damn interesting.
